Great South Bay Music Festival 2018

July is a big month in the Long Island music scene as it means it is once again time for its biggest music festival of the year, Great South Bay. Back for its 12 year, the Great South Bay Music Festival will once again take place at Shorefront Park in Patchogue, NY from July 12 – 15.

As one can expect, the lineup is jam packed with up & coming artists to big name headliners sure to bring home the magic that one comes to expect from the event. This year the festival will feature over 65 performers covering 4 different stages.

Thursday is the starting point of the 4 day event which will feature 2 stages, the Clamshell Bandshell & The Main Coors Light Stage. On the Clamshell, fans will get treated to some great artists including Bohemians, King Neptune & headliners I IGNITE.

The Main Coors Light Stage will also be rocking out hard as it features native Long Islanders Envy On The Coast, The Get Up Kids, Thrice & headliners The Front Bottoms.

Friday kicks things into an even higher as we now add the Jambalaya Stage into the mix which will feature Callooh Callay, Awaken & headliners US & Floyd.

The Clamshell Bandshell will feature Samurai Pizza Cats, Nonstop to Cairo & headliners Gnarly Karma. The Main Coors Light Stage will feature heavy hitters Less Than Jake, Dirty Heads & headliners Sublime with Rome.

Saturday is always “Jam-Rock Day” at the Great South Bay & that will be no different on The Main Coors Light Stage which will feature such acts as local guitar phenom Andy Falco & Friends, Papadosio & headlined by Umphreys McGee who are making their 3rd visit to the festival.

The Jambalaya Stage will feature Local Motion, Reckoning, The Allmost Brothers Band & headlined by The THE BAND Band. The Clamshell will feature local singing talent Lexy Cassell, Cassandra House, Kate Usher & the Sturdy Souls & headliners Quarter Horse.

Sunday is the go home day & the festival does not disappoint with stacked lineups on every stage. The Jambalaya Stage will feature The Complete Unknowns, Part Time Bear, Approaching Troy & headliners Times Like These. The Clamshell will feature Route 111, Carrie and The Cats, Pete Mancini & headliners Danny Kean.

The Main Coors Light Stage will feature the Devon Allman Project (featuring sons of Gregg Allman & Dickey Betts), Little Feat, Electric Hot Tuna (returning for the 4th time) & headlined by The Dickey Betts Band performing a night of Allman Classics, as well as a heartfelt tribute to Gregg Allman.
