BETS – I’ll Make You Mine

Today, alt-pop-star, BETS (the pseudonym of artist Betsy Hershey) returns with new single, “I’ll Make You Mine”.

Releasing music for over a decade, the indie staple has cultivated a dedicated following, amassing over 12 million listens on YouTube throughout her career. Her endeavors in music and film have earned her praise in Nylon and TIME Magazine.

“I’ll Make You Mine,” marks BETS first release from her upcoming LP. It’s a song about longing: for love, for your loved ones, and for the realization of one’s dreams. And then chasing after them.

The track is featured on the soundtrack of her new climate activism documentary, Just Look Up, which premieres at the Tribeca Festival this June.

“This song is about how fun it is to just want,” BETS explains. “To want love, to want your people, to want your dreams. Being in that state of yearning and creating is a beautiful place to be.”

With “I’ll Make You Mine,” BETS delivers a confident, cheeky, and playful indie-pop track arriving just in time for spring.

BETS is a Brooklyn-based indie pop musician currently putting the finishing touches on her new LP. Working with her dear friend, the artist van Bosch, acting as both band mate and producer.

Centered on love in all its forms and the drive to create forever, the album arrives alongside her work as a documentary filmmaker. BETS will premiere her latest climate activism documentary, Just Look Up, at the Tribeca Festival this June.
